G8ST-P 29MM DMS

The new DMS™ G8ST-P rocket motor delivers 130 N-Sec. (29.2 lb.-Sec.) of total impulse and an amazing 19.8 second burn time with an all-up weight of 5.54 oz. (157.1 g). The motor delivers a peak and average thrust of 7.9 N (1.8 lb.). AeroTech’s Super Thunder™ propellant formulation produces a bright violet-blue flame with a minimum of exhaust smoke and a higher ISP and burn rate than regular Blue Thunder™ propellant. This is a “plugged” motor that does not produce delay smoke or have an ejection charge and requires the utilization of an electronically-activated recovery system. This rocket motor has been designed primarily for the long-duration boost of rocket gliders, which allows the R/C pilot to fly and control the glider under full boost power and during the entire glide phase back.
