featherweight tracker battery+adapter
A 400 mAhr Lithium Polymer battery plus a connector adapter that works with the Featherweight GPS Tracker. The connector adapter can be installed horizontally as shown in the photo, or vertically. The tracker battery also plugs into the ground station enclosure for recharging in the field. The 400 mAhr capacity provides about 4-6 hours of tracker operation.
The Ground Station battery option is the battery used in the ground station. It uses the same connector as the tracker battery. We stock the largest available battery that fits into the ground station compartment, and the size varies from 850-2000 mAhr depending on manufacturer availability.
These cells include cell protection circuitry that prevents sustained high current discharge, making it good for powering a tracker but unsuitable for use driving deployment charges with an altimeter. A charger for it is here
